  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

timecode and cs4

No.

And Adobe better get on this QUICKLY as they can't possibly expect to be taken seriously as a Pro Video Editing suite if they don't support audio TC.

This is my single biggest complaint with Premiere right now (the close second is poor support for large numbers of clips, i.e. a feature film, forcing you to break a project up into smaller sections).

some details on this please

Researching various Premiere work flows (here, over at Creative Cow, etc...) I hear a lot of people complaining about not being able to edit a full feature in one project file. Premiere either crashes all the time or takes an insane amount of time to open up/load (like half an hour) if you are using the number of clips required to populate a feature film.

Thus, you have to split the project up into "sections" for anything feature length.

I have not run into this yet, as I do not have all of the synced files for our project at the moment. Currently I'm working with only about 400 audio/video clips.
