Best Alternative Batteries

Would you guys mind sharing a link where you are ordering the Dynacore bats?

+1 on the Dynacore. I have them in 150 and 90 and they've been super solid.

Have there been any Group Buys for batteries lately on the forum?

Thanks for the input

Hi Will, I just saw this post today and wanted to show you a new option coming from Switronix. This is our HyperCore Slim it's a 75wh battery that comes in both 3Stud and Vmount, as well as there is a RED battery with communication protocols. The Gold will work on Bauer Chargers and the Green works on any Vmount. These batteries have the same cells as our bigger HyperCores so they can stand a 10 amp load. Also we have our newest Fleet charger that will charge 4 HyperCore 98's in. 2 hours from dead.

The HyperCore Slim is looking at a list price of $299

this is so awesome

between my buddy and i we have about 15 switronix V-mount batteries.. im so stoked about these slim ones.. deff going to get some to go with the raven!

on a side note, the switronix people are SUPER friendly and available for help, really good customer service

+1 on pags. I am traveling with 6 batteries and two of the mini chargers. I left the large multicharger at home to save weight. It is working out well. You can multicharge on the mini, though it takes overnight for 2 or 3 if you can sleep in. I love that because of piggy backing, hot swapping is easy. It let me leave my side handle at home- no other battery/charger type needed. Pag makes a great little add on 3/ptap adapter with usb. Also, I have have been on 11 flights in last 6 weeks and those little "flight approved" stickers work a charm. Love em!

If you are looking for a normal size four position charger. Right now its the new Fleet series nothing in the industry is faster at the moment. If you want something more travel friendly than our GP-LS single position charger works great as ell fits perfectly into your luggage. As well the GP-LS can be used as a power supply simultaneously.

HyperCore Slim

Jose, quick question. I've used Switronix batteries for a while, but haven't had a HyperCore up on my camera. Are these "lower profile"? I'm looking for something a bit shorter in height in comparison to most standard V-Mount batteries for Weapon.

Was going to purchase the Anton Bauer Cine bricks. These new HyperCores do look a bit shorter to my eye.

Thanks! here's another shot of the Slim's I can't see my images so my apologies if this as has already uploaded.

Phil,

Are you comparing them to the older XPL Series of batteries? If so the slim is slightly smaller in both height and weight. The HyperCore 98's re the same size of the XPL series Lighter and much more efficient.

Phil, the Hypercore are essentially the same size as the other batteries by switronix, the big difference is the amount of recharge cycles. these new slims look MUCH smaller I'm interested for sure
