BBC World Cup 2014 Title Sequence shot on Carbon Dragon

[Jarred Land]

Most of you guys that have been watching via BBC have seen this great opener they use for World Cup coverage, We now have the full 4K version up on our YT page now as well as a nice little BTS page of Giles Harvey and his crew at work on the piece.

Shot on RED EPIC DRAGON with the MOVI and Canon glass.

Thanks Jarred

[Jeffery Anderson]

what do you mean you want lights? the World cup video was shot with all natural light! You said you have an epic right?

[Kwan Khan]

Thanks

[Will Keir]

"Jones," "Silva!" haha, that's a great commercial. Wish my internet was better for 4k, fucking mountains! \

"Risk everything." What a game the US put on toward the end, completely unbelieveable for the 19 year old, his first touch in the game, GOAL!

[Giles Harvey]

The dragon was a dream. Form factor and functionality aside the pictures are amazing. Been shooting MX for a few years and love those pictures but the dragon is on another level (particularly carbon for me). We shot canon glass as I was shooting with Movi and they cover the 6K perfectly. I am currently testing the fool control /REDlink. This kit just keeps getting better. Oh yeah, daylight blue screen - Dragon, no worries.

Show Off…
Great thing about opening titles, you get to see them over and over again.
That's millions of viewers every broadcast and were only at the quarter finals stage...
Seriously impressive work Giles.
Keep it coming,
Phil

Good stuff Giles

[Joel Arvidsson]

I would liked it to be graded more naturally but its personal preference of course. Was nice with some bts! Was nice with the toys with the players heads.

[Humberto Rivera]

Good Stuff Jarred, Costa Rica plays on Suturday, if they do well the country would go wild! The world Cup unites the world, I seen it with my own eyes here in Costa Rica. Go World!

[David Battistella]

Great!

Can see that Dragon look shining though. Even through all the treatments, you can feel the character of the Dragon.

Super stuff all.
