  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Well with the new interchangeable OLPF system, it could be possible yours is having one installed if it hasn't shipped yet. They said that cameras shipping after the announcement would come with the new system. If this is a case, it would be worth the extra little wait IMO.

Once maybe every 3 years lol. Not an often occurrence.
 
We got our Dragon last week. 5 hours on it, and looks brand new. We jumped on this, as we were about to upgrade our other Epic to Dragon, we bought a new Dragon instead. Keeping the upgrade on hold for a bit longer.
Great deal, luckily my co-owner spotted the deal
 
Just got my BT Epic yesterday. Was a little concerned hearing about some cameras being scratched up but mine looked brand new. I was surprised to see new fans top and bottom along with a brand new AC cable. Totally unexpected. Big smiles here.
 
Waiting for mine, I told them to install v1 OLPF and they said it would delay the cam a bit. Can't wait, already had 3 epic shoots I could have rented it on. Soon...

Same here. Also told them to put the Low Light (V1) OLPF in my BT Dragon. Was also told the camera needs to go back onto the production line for them to install the OLPF. Can't wait to get mine. What a great deal. Big thanks to Dan for helping me get the best kit for my needs.
 
Just talked with Red. I had ordered 2x BTRD, one old olpf, one new. I had them hold shipping until back from IBC. I was hoping they could just keep the cameras and change over to the new modular olpf, since it's so close to October, but because of a legal situation I have to receive them as built before any changes. They are now shipping in next couple of days. It will be interesting to see if the old olpf is the old old olpf or the newer old olpf. Anyway in line for the modular as soon as available. They did indicate that they have caught up on putting the old olpfs into all the BTRDs that requested them.

I emailed my rep about this. I have a V1 OLPF coming too, and my camera is en route. He said I have the tweaked V1 OLPF and that's all they sell now. The original V1 is discontinued.

I guess this should go without saying, but make sure you guys check the firmware and update it. My firmware version was titled "For Development Use Only!" haha. My images were really noisy and I didn't know why. I believe that was the cause. Looking great now!

I bought one too! It looked brand new and had LESS hours on it than advertised... 3.4! It's incredible!

Just received mine, had less than the hours advertised and like Curt said, its absolutely new and the firmware came updated with the latest version.
 
Mine looks and smells brand new. 4 hours on the clock... Amazing deal.
 
Just received our dragon and it looks like brand new! Turned it on for the first time and cannot see the menus on our tv logic vfm-056W monitor. We don't have the touch screen, only the side handle. How do one turn the menus on without the touch screen? Thanks.

What about trying to reload the firmware? That returns the camera to default settings. Still, it might be the default is not to send the menus to the HDMI output.
