Probably a known issue... Using an epic dragon with a redvolt XL module. Other than removing the battery, is there any way to stop power being drained even when the brain is powered down? Seems strange that you can't leave a battery in place ready to shoot... Thanks, Dom

Also true with sound gear and laptops. The battery will continue to drain slightly over time.

dragon and MX eats a redvolt over night even when shut down. Weapon seams to be deal with that much better.

That cute little red light above the power button that stays on even when the camera is off definitely is draining the battery, albeit ever so slowly.

I think that lights out on weapon it goes into some sort of hibernate mode no?

Assuming that at most the camera draws 10mA when off from the LED, uC watchdog waiting for the power button press, etc...it would take almost a month to drain a 90WH battery. I would say that's not unreasonable :P

EDIT: Oh, we're talking about Redvolts. So 25 hours then. Still, if you're keeping the battery in for longer than a day, you should rethink your storage solution.
