  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Backorder Update - November 8

Are we still looking for an "out of backorder in February"?....

Hey guys sorry for the delay. It is a bit of a moving target right now after the inrush of orders before the 1st price increase and the holidays that slowed everything down a bit.

REDMOTES are moving along.. if you order today delivery will be first week of Feb. Same with Touch 5" displays. Side Handles unfortunately are the most desired item.. your looking at March 1st if you order today. EVFs are still completely caught up and ship on demand.

Remember, it doesn't mean that nothing ships till the dates above, those dates just mean if you order today when you will receive it. Stuff is going out the doors daily so if you already have an order in, your ship date will be between now and then.
 
Thanks Jarred. Any updates on the more simple but yet important accessories like the modular assault plate, back pack, ribs etc... We've been waiting on the assault plate since August.....

Yup ill do a major update next friday. That dual holiday was brutal.. We spent the last week doing double duty as we tried to catch up from the week lost so a lot of balls are in the air.

Thanks much, this will allow me to do some planning ... how I'm going to "read" this ... is my November touch screen order's will ship by February.

Thanks for the heads up Jarred! Glad to hear that I'll probably have my Redmote in hand by the time my Scarlet brain is ready, unless of course you guys are really nice to me and get that out the door even sooner than Feb. 1. Looking forward to next Friday for the Modular Assault Plate update.

I'd love to know the side handle situation for those who ordered one with a Scarlet on the 3rd.
 
Can we get a heads up for when Stage 3's can be sent in?

I know there is a few guys out there that might want to plan rentals around this. It would be much appreciated!

(I understand it's impossible to tell when the epics will ship due to it being on the customer to send it in, but this would at least give a 1-12 month idea of what's happening)
 
All back orders are gonna be caught up in the next 1- 90 days or so... gotta have faith. I'm early 100's and got mine quick.
its real its happening... vacation just ending... lots will update this week.

meantime... follow Jim and Mike Most (M Most) and Stuart, (who rocks btw for posting so much) they are posting super important info about future of 4K distro.

RED information and work flow is NOT on back order... its available in ABUNDANCE... just saying. the bits and bobs will come... but if you haven't found a way to shoot EPIC or SCARLET
in the interim... then DO IT!

does the backorder info still stand (feb/march) for these, too?

edit: can wait until friday ... hehe!
