Pro IO is due April 4th. I am hesitant to give that date because there is a few things that need to come together for that to happen.. but thats the target as of now.

Any idea when you guys can give us a full feature spec on that I/O module. As you know there's been a lot of guessing regarding that module and what exactly it will and will not do

We had to make a new production fixture for the Assault plate that comes in next week... will start to pick up 3rd week of January, no ETA on out of backorder yet.

That's tough to hear, but I hope it gets ramped up quickly so I'm not stuck waiting for too long

Plus - Ti PL mount. Our Scarlet is apparently allocated and ready to go, but being held hostage by a shortage of PL mounts. . . Please tell me that you'll have a supply back up soon?

Jarred has a big heart and I know that if they could ship every Scarlet, Epic X and AKS tomorrow they would do it... Jim, Jarred, Brent, Nate and many others work 20 hours a day because they love all of this.... Don't know how they keep it up....

I prefer to wait if it means that Quality control is kept at the current high standards. We are talking about cutting edge, professional cinema gear here. In case of the Epic is practically the "Ferrari" of cinema cameras. It deserves time to be manufactured and to be delivered with Red highest standards. I'm sure some of the delays is to keep this quality control levels!

Quad Charger is complete and tooled... but as I mentioned before there is a hefty FCC and Safety process that is still a couple months away from being completed since its such a high powered lithium based simultaneous charger. A little frustrating I know but they don't mess around with that stuff, and probably for good reason.

Is the FCC approval process for the 9" Touchscreen LCD going to be just as long ... or is that closer to completion?

Some of us have sausage fingers and the 5" is teeny tiny.

Shortage of PL mounts?! Who told you this news? If his is the case please please please can this be updated with a potential status.

QUAD battery Module - Starts shipping January 19th

So when the quad battery module ships, will the quad battery charger also be ready to ship? Seems rather pointless to have one without the other. Need both and while we're at it, what about the Redvolt XL batteries?

You can still use travel chargers to power up the batteries for use with the quad module...

Now that the quad battery module is close to shipping, is there any update on how to power accessories? I invested in RedVolts, but I'm worried that the v-mount route might have been smarter from a P-Tap perspective...
