Nice

Redcode RAW (4K) it says. Is the rest of the 6k meant for reframeing, stabilizatin etc. And the 4k is just the extracted area to be used.

Or is it a typo?

Curious to see how successful they are at making this a four film franchise. I anticipate interest in the second film but 4 seems like a lot unless the stories are truly top notch.

yessir... should look sweet

i'm with you, steve - the antagonists in avatar were terrible
(i won't apologize for that, but the creators should. so flat, the props were more believable)

*i'm just as ticked at old tennessee's (we don't claim him) andrew jackson and what others did to the people right here, and i'm just as pissed about contemporary corporate colonialization. but you have to understand and the audience has to understand the real issues on ever side, from every perspective. keep your enemies closer.*

otherwise pretty awesome story-experience, but that's kindofa big deal, y'know...
hopefully they get their stuff together and make a movie or even a few more, but i'm wary of this financial franchisement

It interesting, I think the Fusion work that they guys did was very good at the time. If they can use some of the rigs with Epic would seem like a good move to me.

With Dragon at 6k it certainly gives enough reframe resolution for HIT with out many compromise.

Theres one thing we found here using our matched Leica R sets for 3D with Epic, in that the offset of sharpness and contrast designed in to the Leica lens's which is said to create the Leica 'pop' does create exceptional 3D.

3D movies worth seeing

Like Rocky, Matrix etc, the first is the best, no matter how hard you try the idea and the fact that something is not done before is what counts.

All 5 frames that will be filmed! :D

I'm glad someone other than me pointed that out. :thumbup1:

These pictures, for the most part, won't be "shot" on anything. They are very likely to be about 95% CG, as the first one was.

Agree, but Cameron is a clever guy. If he keeps the same high standards for himself that he has become renown for, I guess all the films can become interesting, but who knows, everyone can fail at some time...
