Audio playback slipping out of sync during playback -- anyone else experiencing this?

I've found that, even with a Pegasus RAID, my audio is slowly drifting out of sync during playback of 5k R3Ds in CS6. This occurs whether the RED Rocket card is enabled, or whether I'm playing directly from CS6 with resolution reduced. If I hit the spacebar and re-start playback, everything's back in sync, but starts to drift out within 10-20 seconds. Sometimes even less. Ideas?

Config: 2011 iMac 27" with external RED Rocket in Sonnet Echo chassis. Premiere Pro CS6. Pegasus R4, RAID5 stripe.

What are your sequence settings?

Sequence setting match footage: 5k 2:1, 23.98 Audio is from the R3D file, not external.

Sequence setting audio sample rate 48khz or 44?

Does it drift in RCX?

48k. I haven't been aware of drift in RCX, but I spend 95% of my time parked, working on grading, rather than playing.
