Audio issues

I just had "issues" with my RED One on a recent shoot. Kept on saying "audio error" and stopping to record on some of our takes. Restarted camera and it was fine. Just was horrible in the sense that it ruined probably 5 or so good takes!

Anyone have the same problem before? What is the solution?

Speak to your rental company its their responsibility to keep the camera in working condition.

Haha, funny you say that, I just got my RED back from Lake Paris and it has the same problem... even after i waited 16 days for my camera to come back from a simple fan repair because they needed to do a full QC process.

Anybody know what this error is about? I only get it when running a microphone.

Your hard drives are dropping frames, get them checked out.

Except that it doesnt report dropped frames and the whole take is there, complete, until the error it immediately stops recording. Been testing it all day, can't get it to dupe the problem, only when on set! Does the lighting play an issue in this???
