It's exciting to see so many useful and clever 3rd party accessories for Epic being announced almost daily on RedUser, however, there are some solutions I am (and perhaps you too are) looking for that I've yet to see announced.

I wanted to launch this thread so we can suggest our ideas and designers/manufactures can guage interest in them and hopefully bring them to market.

One item I'd like to suggest:

--A small, flat, low-profile and elegant SWAT rail adaptor that makes it easy to turn just about anything that can mount using 1/4-20 bolts (like in my case, my legacy RED ONE top handle or the EPIC touch screen LCD) into a SWAT rail compatible accessory. This seems like such a basic item, but I've yet to find it (but if a solution is out there, please let us know. I suspect there are a ton of folks with the same need).

What solutions are the rest of you looking for?

Cheers,

--Joe

And boom, there goes the dynamite. :thumbup1:

Thanks for posting Brook, that's what I've been looking for!

Red Team: what's the status/ETA for this SWAT adaptor?

Thanks,

I want a NATO rail that can be mounted horizontally onto the plate the replaces the Side SSD Module. Like Brook's Stealth Plate but for the other side of the body. That way if I was using a Rear SSD Module I could mount the EVF Spinner as close to the body as possible. And I would rather be able to adjust the Spinner horizontally along the rail since the new Spinner design already has a bit of vertical adjustment built-in.

I like the idea of not mounting the Spinner from the top mount. But it sticks out a bit too far as you can see in this pic.

The sidearms are .5mm off of the SSD module, just for reference.

The tightest interface that I've seen for the Spinner is to mount a NATO rail to the side of the top plate.

When the rear SSD modules are available I'll definitely see what we can do to make a Stealth Plate equivalent for that side!
