  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I'm pretty sure he means some way of controlling the threshold of contrast/edge detection at which the red focus assist outline appears. On wide shots with smaller apertures for instance, the focus assist can seem to say everything is in focus, when actually it isn't.

Red's own built in camera focus assist has the same limitation.

 
Anyone know the settings to trigger the Blade from the Epic.

Also I can't get the blade to record 25P from the Epic it defaults to 24 my project settings are 25P

Think HD-SDI output on the Epic defaults to 24Hz Paul, even if the Project and Record framerates are 25fps. It's in Settings>Display>Monitor Control>Brain HDSDI>Frequency.
