  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Atom...

That rig requires 2 Epics, Jim. haha. I can't wait until Epics start rolling off the line. We used the Quasar this past week, and I really wish it could have been with Epics.

Does Red sell the 3D-IO module in the pic, or is that an ET thing only?

ohh my goodness the price! could someone break it down a little why this costs over 60 grand? i know nothing of how this thing works

Awesome! What a tight package. Can it toe in? Measurable? Can the toe measure in be recorded in the metadata?

Congratulations looks beautiful too.

Integrated IO+C electronics and motors

I believe the "C" stands for convergence so the toe in can be electronically controlled.

Gorgeous Form Factor. Almost the same Price as the Quasar? I kmow its stronger but is Magnesium heavier or lighter than Aluminum?

All in about the same price as a tricked out 3-Ality RIG, or maybe slightly less. Looks like 6 versus 12 motors? Will be curious to hear the pros cons between the two by industry veterans. since both RIGS are shooting now with EPIC on separate features.

Choice is always a plus and it looks Gorgeous
