Been scrolling this thread for years trying to find a RED MONSTRO 32mm test or video. Are there any vids that really showcase 40mm or 32mm on a RED MONSTRO sensor? About to make a leap and want to know what set is better suited for that sensor, greatly appreciated.

Hi Henry,

You will achieve roughly same outcome (in regards to vignetting) on 32mm or 40mm with the Monstro.

You can 100% cover 7K 6:5 for 2.40:1 delivery aspect ratio.

8K 6:5 2.40:1 delivery will have some level of vignette if you are not using the Atlas LF Extender.

I can try to shoot a little test clip this week for you on a Monstro at 8K and 7K with both lenses for your reference.

What aspect ratio are you trying to deliver for your shoot?
