Interesting tech fact: this piece was filmed on the FS7, which utilizes a Super 35mm sensor. We selected Orion anamorphic lenses to pair with this camera which gave a unique aspect ratio of 3.55:1. The goal was to construct a visual frame that represented the roads and streets that compose the piece.

I recently got to shoot with these on a commercial project and was really pleased. Dan did a fantastic job with this glass. Like all lenses, these have their place and projects that will work best. Personally, going to get these in my rotation more often for anamorphic. They really help bridge some gaps in the anamorphic space that I found myself in a lot.
