Is this an "anyone-can-come" thing? I will be in LA next week, looking for things to do...

EDIT: Nevermind. Just saw the price.

David, is still photography allowed during the masterclass? It's been on my list of things to attend.

David,

Are you part of the Oct 26-30 Master Class as well?

I don't know the rules on that. Personal use snapshots are probably OK but that's just a guess, you'd have to ask Patty at the ASC.

Hey Mike.

Care to write about your experience? Also if you could tell us a bit of your history so we could put this into context.

Thanks

Hey Jim! I loved taking the master class at the ASC. As you know what we do you never stop learning. Picking up tricks from the cinematographers teaching the classes at the ASC is what I was looking forward to the most and I was not disappointed. I highly recommend taking this class. Its all about the experience and what you make of it and being amongst legendary people is what your going to get. Its 3k for 5 days which is expensive , I just sucked it up put some money aside and had a smile on my face the entire time and I met some really cool people and really loved the experience. Every class is different because every ASC Cinematographers schedule is different. I will remember it forever.
