Glad to hear that all Raven switchers pre-December 10th should be notified....However, I didnt get a notification for a Raven order switched to Scarlet-W (original timestamp 10/27/15) Im an administrator on the account for that order. Is it possible we got lost in the shuffle?...should I contact my rep first thing in the morning?

Thanks clarifying that Brent. For some reasons when I wrote that I was thinking that Raven's are supposed go out after all the Raven to S-W orders. Not sure why I thought that heh

Hey Brent! Love the transparency you guys bring to these forums. I can't imagine any other company keeping us in the loop like that.

Question for you. I was allocated and authorized payment on April 14th (Nov 12th Raven brain order, switch to Scarlet-W brain) and informed of the 2-3 day processing time prior to being sent to RED Store Hollywood for pickup. Do you have any insight as to what might be holding it up? I've noticed other people with April 14th allocations getting shipping notifications 3 days later. I assumed NAB slowed things down a bit but this seems a little bit out of the ordinary.

So im a Raven order customer that switched to Scarlet- W straight away. Should i be concerned if Iv'e not been re -notified by now. I say re-notified because I was notified- paid in full and then un-notified. I have no idea whats going on and my rep doesnt seem any the wiser either. If Im confused I can only dread to think what you guys are having to contend with trying to get cameras in peoples hands with so many new product releases coming out at once. I don't envy any the guys that are tasked with keeping the inpatient masses happy at RED HQ. But If anyone wants to step in and spread some clarity on my order it may well save me a logistical nitemare that im facing in trying to prep for a job which I had expected 2 cams on and now im a cam down. Any one ? Brent@RED?

Totally agree. Sometimes those who shout the loudest are heard from the most -- despite that, I think we all very much appreciate the transparency and understand that that comes at a cost. With all the stuff (read: sh!t) being thrown around, that can get lost. Happy to wait and excited to have a new tool that helps us tell the stories I want to tell in a more complete way.

Looking forward to more information on allocation for Australia, the current allotment of 1 unit has left the rest of us busting for further info.

With our rep just returning from NAB & RED HQ with an update that there is no update, we'll be on here daily awaiting info on S-W. This is our first RED and to say that we're excited is an understatement.

Thanks Brent - I appreciate the update and know you guys must be slammed beyond comprehension. In the meantime Im looking for a rental to cover me for my next job. Who wants to rent me a 2nd cam that I will be skydiving with from 15,000ft and then taking on a very wet rough sailing trip to Antarctica ? Then finishing up with a stint in the Dubai dessert ?

If there is ANY defense of some of the harping that has gone on and on here on REDuser, I think it is just that many of the newer generations have grown accustomed to instant gratification. i.e., years ago eating a candy bar was a treat... now it is a right.

And when something like building out a mountain of orders happens in real-world time, they just don't know how to handle that. The wiser ones (like yourself) will look back on their experience with RED as a teaching moment that will likely have caused them to temper their expectations---and anxiety levels---which should in turn increase their lifespan. '-)

There is a significant differce there. After two weeks of taking the money there is not clear answer of when the people "who ordered RAVEN before the SCARLET-W announcement who then switched to SCARLET-W" will be receiving the cameras.

Bomb Squads are not responding to emails and when you call them they are not giving straight answers. I understand problems happens but if you guys claim you are very open about situations you are not been honest here of what is going on.
