This post is solely to remind everyone how much we appreciate the support.

We are fully RED because of the suggestions, comments and patience of our customers and posters here. The interaction with everyone has made RED a better company.

I'd start with people like David Mullen, who has donated his time to the cause of helping young and interested enthusiasts understand just about anything they can think of. Imagine having a trained professional that will answer each of your questions... wow. Only here. I can't thank David enough...

The shape of our program has changed because of you. The time you have spent here has made a huge difference in what we are doing. I hope it is apparent that we are here and listening, sometimes to 4am. We are aware that this interaction is not normal in any industry... and we like it.

We are always late, but worth the wait. Only a dedicated group of friends would put up with this. We count you as just that.

I hope many of you can make NAB... for selfish reasons. I'd just like to meet you and shake your hand. You have helped shape what RED is...

Thanks again... it is a long road ahead.

Jim

And thank you, Jim, for creating an incredibly exciting new camera. There'll be an awesome sense of history at NAB. Most people peak in life as far as creativity is concerned, way earlier and beneath where you are still heading.

I think RED made big impact not only in the film industry, but also in the corporate world too by doing business differently - as a team with customers. It's gutsy, it's bold, sometimes frustrating, but ultimately very powerful and productive for everyone.

I made many friends on this forum, learned heaps and enjoyed a giggle or two. :cheers2:

Jim, you have fantastic team of very dedicated people and that can not be underestimated too. So, big thank you to this community and the RED team. Well done.

Jim,

You redefine the term "class act", I'm surprised you haven't set aside $20M to fund TOP indie projects like Districk 9 or other high quality films.

What is stopping you?

dam... am I sorry not to make it to NAB .... :furious3:

Thanks

Thanks

Hi,
I will be at NAB and meeting you will be dream come true for me .and I believe that 'If there were no obstacles , there would have been no achievement.'
Thanks again for the great camera you have given to this world.

I don't want this to seem like the credit roll at the end of a movie... but there are so many people at RED who have worked beyond tireless. Tonight I'll single out Brent and Kelly, who are expecting their 1st very soon. God love them.

You really have no idea how many people at RED work more hours than you can imagine... all for the satisfaction of leading the industry to a better place.

Jim

The 2nd best thing about red beside the awesome cameras is the community around Red.
Unfortunately i didn´t have the opportunity to go to NAB the last years, but i was at IBC several times, and i always enjoyed hanging out at the Red booth talking to other Red Owners i´ve just met there or having a chat with Ted, Kelly or whoever was around.

Big thanks for that to you, Jim and the whole Red Team, keep up the Spirit.

Manuel

Very glad to be on board a rocket into the future. It is truly amazing to witness, and participant in, this extraordinary time of image capture technology and Reds consistent push to be the very best. Thanks to you, the Red team and everyone of the Redusers, the impossible is now possible.

The exciting part is that we're just getting started.
Good luck at NAB!

Yes, congrats to Brent and Kelly on the little boy on the way.

Kelly, you are the bomb (I guess the pun of "bomb squad" is intended). :). Last night, Ketch and I were talking about how big of a role you play for RED. Replying to emails and confirming orders at midnight is truly going above and beyond the call of duty. You deserve a medal of honor... :patriot:

You are one of those guys that stand out as well Joseph... the amount of help you have given to people around here is incredible... almost 2500 posts worth.. day and night. The big dogs need to look over their shoulder for the guys like you.

Was great to see you the other day, glad you finally made it to the studio :)

I wholeheartedly agree, Jarred. I was just commenting to my wife about how cool it is seeing someone as young as Joseph being so passionate about what he does and his desire to learn. And how a bunch of the "grown ups" here treat him like a little brother. (In a good way. :001_smile:)

So, to you, Joseph. :cheers2: (Those are root beers. :wink5:)

One thing that we haven't forgotten... the early adopters. We remember stuff like this. When we were a scam, there were a few that believed in us. That went a long way with me. You will always see a reference to those... how many companies even keep track of this stuff? Mark, Gibby, Cordell, Summers, Seymour and the rest... we remember.

We hope that we can earn a permanent place in this industry. If we do... we will bring along those that believed. And try to never let them down.

Jim

Honestly, all of the times Red came through for me I felt like there had to be someone at the top who was leading the example for everyone who helped me. Jim Jannard is a good man, and Red is built with some great people. Some of the best. Your advent long ago, and existence in the present camera world is clearly appreciated, by me and many.
Incredible work
We can only begin to imagine what it takes and what it all looks and feels like being brought to life
I was just thinking today if Jarred gets more out of seeing everything that is behind the Red doors, or knowing how we are gonna feel when we get to..
Thank you

How can we not love RED and our forum. You did more for our industry than Sony and such in the last 10 years. I visit this forum about 4 times a day (thank god there are smart phones) just to check out what you guys come up with again. This place and company is highly addictive. I don't write that much but I'm always here Jim, always.

I also want to say thanks to all of us here. We are a crazy bunch but a fun one.
Guys like David, Tom, Ketch, Gibby, Joseph, MMost, Gunleik, Mark and yes Sanjin make this a very special place. These guys are like friends to me I think I know them.
We are living in a great time. Keep on rocking all of you.

BTW... this moment in time is the single best of my business life. I have had the luxury of being associated with a bunch of really great people and really cool stuff ... more than anyone deserves. But the release of EPIC takes the cake. Times a million.

Jim

Indeed, a long road ahead, and its been equally enjoyable to watch you guys enjoy the ride, "its all about the journey, not the destination"

All I know is Brent and Deanan and Jarred and Stuart and Graeme have provided me with the most incredible service in the past 2 years and the appreciation definitely goes both ways. I can email Deanan anytime of the day, and he responds. I'm now convinced he's actually part of the RED cyborg program.

I remember thinking about 15 months ago, "man, if they try to incorporate EVERYBODY'S" needs, wants, asks, they could end up with an Edsel" (dating myself with the reference) and instead you not only delivered on all of it BUT ALSO introduced a slew of new features? and Jarred talks about even more cool stuff in the pipe? wow

Nothing is more inspiring than that. Congratulations, sincerely.

Wow meeting jim would be great hopefully one day i will meet hi too, by the way harcharanji is srijit mukerjee's next movie starring prosenjeet "22shey srabon" also being shot on red one mx from ur company.
