I knew something was wrong during my shoot yesterday and I just realized what it was... I don't have the option of adjusting the aperture on the camera anymore. I've tried with my canon 35mmL, 24-70L, and 70-200L. Per the attached pic you will see there is a blank space where the aperture should be.

I've tried rediscover and firmware refresh.. Still nothing.

Has anyone else had this issue? If so how were you able to fix it?

i was playing with friends scarlet the other day. same thing happened when we switched lenses without powering down. It happened twice before we figured it out. Simple reboot fixed though. Weird cuz it only does it sometimes.

Same here. Took the lens off, put it back on, then rebooted and it worked. But I wondered what the heck was going on.

I've been experiencing the same issue as well. I've contacted RED for help, waiting for the response. No worries about it though, doesn't greatly affect anything at the moment, would just like to make sure everything is in order before the first scheduled rental.

I did some troubleshooting with the RED team today. They were very helpful, but the end result is my camera is going back to Irvine, CA tomorrow for repair. Frustrated to say the least..

Figured as much. Sounds like some bad eggs are sneaking out. Thats going to happen. I feel your frustration. If it makes you feel any better mine got back quickly and the mount has been working well since it's return(2 days there, 1 day back). I've had multiple other issues still, but it was smooth for 3 days and a row. Starting to uncover more issues but the lens mount fix was huge and atleast allowed me to use it for the most part.
