anyone using the decklink mini monitor 4k with Premiere?

Thinking about the BM Decklink Mini Monitor 4k to drive one of my monitors so I can get full screen output in Premiere Pro (mercury transmit is not working ever since I switched one of my monitors to UHD).

Anyone using it for this? What results are you getting? Does whatever monitor it connects to also form part of the extended desktop, or does it just become a specialist output monitor?

If you don't need it for Resolve (DVR only works with BlackMagic), then get an AJA T-Tap....much better

I run the one just above that in their lineup out to a Sony PVM-A250, works great.

No it will not extend the desktop. It is a preview / grading monitor that activates in Premiere, AE, RedCine, Resolve etc.
