  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Any damage possible from attaching a AirTag to the camera body?

As the title suggests, purchased a small HD AirTag enclosure that attaches to the Raptor body. Will having a GPS tracker cause any damage to the camera? (Might be a silly question but having something emitting signals near the sensor makes me worry )

If you're asking if the GPS aspect will damage your camera, no. If you are asking if it's possible to damage your camera body by attaching something, well don't use industrial strength adhesive :) Lots of people have been using AirTags in PL Body Caps or sneaking them into their baseplates.

Funny, we just had this conversation... I wonder what the end game is? Someone steals you camera and mall ninjas drop from the sky... I just see other methods paying off better....

AirTags don’t have GPS, they’re Bluetooth LE.

Had one in a smallrig holder for ages attached to my RAPTOR.
