I want a new matte box for my set of Ultraprimes and occasional round lomo anamorphics.
My budget is around 2k,
I need good all around box.
Here are the contesters:

Chrosziel 450W-R20
Arri LMB-5
OConnor O-BOX
Red (only if they deliver missing accessories)

I haven't used any of those.
Which would be your pick?

Does lentequip conversion adds another rotating filter tray ?
Is it only for rota pola or it can take 4.5 filters?

Did anyone have experience with Chrosziel 450W-R20?
it looks like it can be configured as clamp on, swing away and rods.
can't find info about the weight.
thanks

I have the Chrosziel 450 and it works great for me. I don't know the actual weight, but it is very, very light.

I have been using Chrosziel since the 90's and my first one is still working and going out on jobs. I have the 450 set up with the AC-401-503 swing away bracket on an AC-401-10 15mm to 19mm adapter. I have not used it as a clip on, but have been thinking about doing so with the Epic and Nikon zooms. It weighs so little, I don't have any concerns about it stressing a DSLR type mount.

I have the Chroziel 435 clamp on. it works great on my LWZ2 and Compact primes.

It also works on rails and i can use my Super speeds with a rubber adapter ring.
Good combo and also it handy to have 3 stages.

...and so I got my self a Chrosziel, and so I am happy:) very happy indeed.

Nice. I seem to be following along on your coat tails making the same purchase decisions. Where did you end up buying it? DId you get the 3-stage model?

I pick up my Epic-M on Tuesday so have a lot of accessories to figure out! :w00t:

just get any 15mm - 19mm Bridge Plate Adapter.
One from Chrosziel is pricy, but there is a lot of reasonable alternatives.
Call 16/9
they are a sponsor here at the Reduser and are really knowledgable when it comes to Chrosziel stuff.
