Fast? Whats Fast in your book Brent? as i remember Minimag 512 was 220Mb/s something like that.Its nowhere near Codex ones.

Ouch ouch, $1400 for 240 Gb, what happenen to Red? I was one day told I was gonnna get a complete functional 4K camera for $17'500, eventually i got a fully functional Red One and spent around $70'000 (yes with tripod, a few (cheap) lenses, mattebox, etc.) but nevertheless, it doesn't look like finding the economic solution is high on Red's priority list.

2) Can $1,450 of the part of $5k Weapon accessory upgrade $5k accessory upgrade be used to compliment the "1.8" REDMAG -> 512 GB Mini" ==> so that a 1TB mini can be bought instead?

1TB warmly welcomed media storage requirements these days are pretty scary... but on the prod workflow following the acquisition media, thank god storage has become so cheap!!!

Did anyone ever address the 1/8" --> Minimag upgrade program? Jarred alluded to it once before and I haven't heard anything about it since...
