Just thought I'd put a suggestion out for Announcement nights like the announcement of RED CINE X PRO.

I think the servers are being killed by the refresh as well as the streaming discussion and I wonder if it would be more wise to set up a chat-style room (there are tons of free ones you can set up and tear down when you have a reason for it). The chat rooms are designed for the kind of quick communication that is bogging the server down and then just make the announcement not on the forum, but first through the chat forum with a link to any jpgs or forum links whenever it's appropriate.

Just a thought.

To take that a step further, It'd be really great if they could do a live-blogging page that would update continuously and also prevent all of those "Wow, Awesome, cool!" comments. Or at least do like they used to do and have an announcement thread, with a second discussion thread for all the chatter.

Well, but with a live-blog you're still in a comment space like a forum. And I think on special nights the community likes to interact some - it's like a little party even if most of the comments are noise... most real life parties share that same characteristic. :-)

That's a great idea. Having to dig through all the awesomes to the discussion is annoying sometimes
