'A man is on his way home from work late one night when he is set upon by two vicious thugs, but as the moon rises in the sky it becomes clear that this man may be more than he seems...'

I shot this last September in London with a RED One camera and a large crew. It was definitely my biggest undertaking (prosthetics, practical special effects, night shoot) and I'd love to know what you think!

Fun! :-) Good job.

Thanks! We shot for two nights in Brentford, London on a RED One (not really sure which one, one of the earliest models I believe) mainly using the small shoulder pad attachment and a ton of lights... We seem to be getting a lot of great feedback and you can see the funding campaign for our new project here: http://www.indiegogo.com/residentevil

Love the black man's acting. He's definitely class. Keep him and develop a story with him as the lead. Good cinematography, but I think with such a good set of actors you should be going for other topics. Werewolf's just demand too much in terms of special fx and it doesn't work for low budget filmmaking, IMO (unless you're going for Peter Jackson's "Braindead" kind of humor)

Great direction on the "encounter" part, once again, great overall talent. You should really try to do something more story driven with that talent. If you want to keep going horror, go for less demanding special FX horror- something like the the sixth sense or " The Others", that kind of horror. This film proves you can get the mood. With that kind of budget, try to work with the good things you have!

Good job!

Ah thanks all! I'm glad it is getting some great feedback :D

The lighting was pretty much set up with two 1K lights, about maybe six other varied lights (600-800). Tbh it was over a year ago so I'm a little hazy (we shot through the night for two nights as well) so in terms of the set up there isn't much I can offer. For the first scene (on the side of the road) close up you can see one of our set ups here (ironically this shot isn't in the film...), there are some 1K's in the room above the street.

I have some more behind the scenes images at our facebook page here
