Anamorphic Settings?

I have a feature coming up and we are shooting with a Anamorphic 2x lens. I have never shot anamorphic but do have knowledge of basic settings but after that Im confused. Like what format...6K FF?...6K WS? Open gate? 6k 6.5? Im a little confused. Any and all help with settings would be appreciated. Im using a smallhd external monitor that de-squeezes.

6K 6:5 comes is the correct aspect ratio for 2X anamorphic.

Phil thank you very much sir. The Dragon has a open gate option. Should I shoot in open gate or not seeing its a S35 Sensor. Funny I just came off shooting a Lifetime movie and I suddenly feel Im back to square one asking these questions.
