Raw capture in C200 removes the significant codec limitation typical for many cameras in this market segment and it helps to get much more from the sensor for a wider user base. This is an important step for the middle segment, which many aspiring cinematographers, especially those preferring Canon cameras are likely to appreciate and utilize.

Btw on a cinematography section we don't discuss particular cameras, this is typically located in an off topic section. And as Nick said, this post does look like astroturfing.
 
So Liz, can you identify your self?
So far you made 3 posts two are random sony sales triggering questions. Why not go and ask those kind of questions some place else, like in a forum for sony cameras or such?

Can not know for sure where you coming from. But this is reduser owned by red, so a bit offensive I think to write this kind of posts if you have any sort of association with sony, do you?

As the principal here is that we all post with our "real name" which goes a bit further than not using a nickname. If that can not be stated I think the moderators should close this thread.

I have not tested the c200 yet, but I am not sure it is as good as the ursa mini pro image nor codecs. + The Ursa mini pro is cheaper.
