  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Allstar still camera lense to PL-style mount

And just as a cautionary note: this mount is not currently approved by RED, thus installation of it will void your warranty (if there is any left on your camera) and likely void the trade-in program for an Epic.

So I just shipped my products to RED in CA (to Jarred Land)

M42 adapter is almost ready, the price will be little lower then F or C/Y.
Next produce is Leica R adapter.

This thing is pretty bad-ass...... no concerns about warranty. I would suggest a bit of lubrication on the mount and perhaps to use hex or torx screws instead of phillips.. but apart from that it is good to go :)
 
Good news Jarred. That's one major hurdle out of the way. Allstar, any progress on DX iris control?

Took the words out of my mouth. I might bring it to RED day next weekend, its a very versatile and professional mount...I am very pleased. I will post a more extensive review later but Jarred summed it with "pretty bad-ass".

ALLSTAR - I received the mount + PL and Nikon adapters today. High quality work; I look forward to installing it and shooting some footage. - John
