Beautiful design Tom.
Congratulations!!!

wow nice looksss.

you have only a 50mm or other lens? 18/25/35/85/100 ?

Seems like people will buy these based on the light that bounces off the metal outside (photos posted) rather than the light refracted through the glass.

Tom - I would be more than happy to host your Lenses at My booth at Cinegear in Los Angeles at the end of the month.

You are welcome to come join us, and if you want me to just show the lenses for you, I can do that.

Best,

Woow! Impressive! What glass is that? Nikon? That is PL right? not a hard mounted AllStar?

I just noticed that too.
That could be a deal breaker for some people.
Nice work- regardless...

Well, if another manufacturer wants to make a competing $2800 zoom with superior optical performance, they are welcome to do so!

That said... can you name a currently-manufactured 80-200 2.8 lens whose optical performance is so bad that it would actually be distracting to an audience?

The optical quality of the current Canon and Nikon 80-200 2.8 lenses is plenty good for me. Breathing on some models is a little bit of a bother but if the worst thing about the film I make is breathing in some of the shots... that's good enough for me!
