Anyone try or have experience with the alienware laptops with their graphics amplifier for video editing and color grading work in DaVinci?
My main machine is a 2012 mac pro 12 core with titan x but I wanting to go more mobile since I have a kid now and work from home. I would move the mac pro as a second machine and I am thinking about getting an alienware 15 or 17 inch (with either 1070 or 1080 internal) with titan x (pascal) hooked into the graphics amplifier for home use and then when I am at coffee shop I can work as well untethered.
Thoughts?
