  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Adobe Premiere XML roundtrip with Resolve 8 not working

You will need resolve 8.0.1. Are you using that? If you get us the sample you are using.

Cheers

Dave
Hi David,
It works now, our colorist loaded the wrong sequence.
1 problem, the multicam edit can't be conform, resolve link to nested sequence ... instead of the original file name.
Do we have anyway in PP to use the original file names, not the sequence name?
Thanks Adobe :),

Cheers,

Sorry, English is not my main language.
I will try to make it clearer. In Premiere Pro 5.5, I place 2 track together, Nest them then enable Multicam. After finished editing, I export XML then import the project to Davinci.
Davinci can recognize all clips, except the multicam edit, what I tried to say is the clips' name were replace by the name of the Nest sequence so Davinci cannot find them, we must do it manually.
I think this problem would be fixed by Adobe, by using the the original footage's name, instead of Nest sequence name.

Thanks Dave,

AFAIK, Resolve can't handle nested sequences, it was the same with FCP 7.

Nested sequences seem to only work with Avid AAF.
