Adobe Premiere CS 5 and Epic 5K R3Ds?

[Christian Pfeil]

Does Premiere CS 5 work with 5K Epic footage as R3Ds?

[Brad Allen]

Premiere CS 5.5 does with the EPIC Importer: http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/redepic_importer/

CS5 5 and earlier do not however.

[Scott Miller]

CS5 or 5.5

I was at the Sac Video Professional Meeting last night and Adobe's Eric Espera was showing Epic 5K playing back in realtime off of a small 2.5" RAID. And it was the release version.

[Brad Allen]

Oh maybe I got things wrong. I thought it was only 5.5 and not 5?

[Brad Allen]

Just checked and judging from Dave's post here, I'm fairly certain it's only 5.5

[Scott Miller]

Sorry, I was not clear

It is 5.5. That is why I asked which version, then I did not specify in my answer/experience

[Christian Pfeil]

[Brad Allen]

Glad to hear it Christian
