  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

ACTIONCAM. GLIDECAM trainer needed

You should mention where you are located. I would recommend one of the steadicam classes offered by tiffen.

We have tried to do an in-Depth DVD on this very thing. Glidecam is very interested, but we've had a hard time syncing up with them.

Actioncam never responds to my emails or PMs... Ever.

I have an actioncam rebel pro, updated from the Red edition, and it is good. The guys over at action products are pretty swamped with all the epic accesories they are building, but indeed they are not great in responding to emails. Looks like things grew a little bit too fast for them, good for them, but a pity for the customers.
I too was interested in training, in the end i did a regular Gold master class with Tiffen, which was one of the best things you can do, since it teaches you technique, and later on you can apply this on your own rig. I was not allowed to bring my Actioncam rig, but that depends on the organiser of the event. Garrett and I discussed the actioncam rig, and it is one of the few he likes. They actually don't care that much on what rig you are using, as long as it is not the chinese copy rig from Movcam. They will advise you on what rigs are good, and the ones that suck. Also they don't like back mounted vests at all (klassen/actioncam). Anyway; take the mastercourse, you won't regret it.

+1. The Official Steadicam gold course from Garrett Brown and Jerry Holway is awesome.
