  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I vote for Mitch and Jim to duke this out in a steel cage match. If Mitch wins, Jim has to spill the beans.

I know someone is already racing to their animation program to create a Celebrity Death Match version of this. Make sure to post it as soon as you finish.

So I already had to pee off the wazoo as it was. Then I looked at this thread. And not one picture, but TWO! I seriously almost peed my pants!

New rule. When you see a new thread from Jim, go pee first!
 
Clearly, Jim is having the time of his life with this stuff! :) The great thing is, I have a feeling that the fun Jim is having is a good indication of hte fun we'll have with Scarlet and Epic! It really makes one wonder, if this kind of revolutionary change in the world of photography is possible.... what have the "big boys" (Canon, Sony, Panasonic, etc...) been doing all these years?

The ONLY reason we are here is because the "other guys" weren't pushing the envelop. We'll see how they respond to Scarlet & EPIC. Should be very interesting.

Hmm, you're still referring to 'Scarlet', I've been telling everyone and their third cousin that you canceled that.
 
Please, please get these items out for sale ASAP. I had to listen to a Canon rep today go on and on about how the new video capabilities of their still cameras are a 1/6 the cost of a Red One body. There is no comparison, I know. I just want to have the new DSMC to shut their pie hole....

I used to spend much of my time reading this forum.

Fortunately I received my Red One yesterday and it took all my attention (what an amazing tool !!!)

But if today you're teasing me with a new toy Jim, I won't sleep anymore. I don't know if I can handle it. ;)

And the only reason why I'd be excited about what their response would be is to then hear what your response would be to their response to your response...woah...I'm getting dizzy...too many circles. But you get the idea.

I've met both of you in person. My bet is on...you know what, you're both really nice guys and maybe we should just stick to baking cakes and making kickass cameras. :-)
 
What's crazy is that they think they are competing with what they come out with.
 
Scarlet or Epic Jim? That's all, please!

Those buttons look like they might feel like Audi buttons... I love Audi buttons... you KNOW if you engaged them just by their feel.
