  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

a SHUTTERED DREAM... :( But there are others... ;)

Oh well, its just one of many I have so I will not drop on my knees and start crying about it, also because I have a broken knee and it will really hurt getting down ;)

However as many of you know form posts in the past years, I have a really big love for the Under Water World, and for this I have written few stories, and acquired some specialty gear,
as well as been on the list to be one of the very first in the world to get the Deep Atom form Gates as well as the Deep Epic, to film some serious Under water material for what would have been intended for
3D cinema.


UNFORTUNATELY....

I have more serious conditions then anticipated, and do to the current health status of my Kidney Transplant and related aggravated conditions, do to
the Immunosuppressant cocktail, which in the past year have caused some serious complications, Heart irregularity called Atrial filtration, do to a Heart Failure,
and two heart attacks, for which I am now extremely high on the risk of infarction, which is definitely not good, and even worst if it was to happen while under water,
bone density been diminished drastically, do to Osteoporosis with high risk of fractures, and for this, the accident in Miami shutter my knee so easily,
spinal bone marrow issues during decompression, Lungs issues to bread under pressure, with possible pulmonary baurotrama, a list of S%$#@ you don't want to even know about!! Including of course the higher risk of infections do to not been able to fight regular bacteria that leaves in the open waters.

So I now say good buy for good to that Dream, and bound to NEVER dive, and or film under water AGAIN!!

Fortunately I do have more then one DREAM, and I am still going strong, and will continue to amaze others as much as myself,
and I will re-focus some of that energy to other things, not easy, especially as one of the reasons of my return home to Italy was to enjoy the beautiful waters of Sardinia... :(

Bottom line is, if one DREAM shutters right before your eyes even after you put so much i to it... Keep going... Pursue an other DREAM!! I AM!!



THANK GOD EPIC AND 3D IS ALSO VERY GOOD ABOVE WATER... ;)



EDIT:

I need here to give a big thanks to Ross Isaac, which I was going to do some insane Underwater filming, and that He put some time in to getting a flu list of Scuba gear for deep diving, so thanks Ross, sorry this one will not work out for us, but I am sure there is something else out there waiting for us to work on together.. ;)

Yeah the sad part is that I was ready to leave for an intensive two months Master Diver certification in Sardinia... oh well.
 
Darn Ketch, really sorry to hear this buddy-- I know how passionate you are about underwater filming and 3D ... so I understand the pain you must be feeling about that.

At the same time, I didn't quite understand how serious your health complications were. Of course, health must come first. So you are definitely doing the right thing and as someone who is aware of your bigger vision for all the things you doing -- especially in the areas of charity and philanthropy ... I can say that the world truly needs to you live a long, healthy life!!!

Also, if you ever need any other doctor referrals or help with that -- I know some amazing ones who are skilled in both traditional and more alternative treatments.

Keep all of your other dreams alive. And dream of your Epic on a ROV at some epic dive location.

Keep strong and fulfill all your dreams. You might not get to actually dive again but maybe with help you cam still see those films realized as a director or producer.

Your health is most important.

I'll never give up no matter what, I still do have movie to make called... "P E R S E V E R A N C E" besides the others, so don't worry, I'll be around for a while longer... ;)

As far as under water filming, I was also inspire to work with Cameron on the scenes I know will play in the AVATAR films to come, oh well, I'll have to ask him to bring me on board a newly
built Submarine with a better controlled Pressurization chamber, or I'll have one built for my self... he he

Dear KETCH,
you're still at the top and now you're a great reference point, especially for REduser.
Health is an important thing and I understand you also suffer from ostioporosis at this young age caused by medication for the proton pump in the stomach, but I pretend that I have nothing even if I had to abandon many things, so take a deep submarine facts and jump into the deep waters with the super EPIC ATOM 3D . ;)

Man, you have been through the wringer, Ketch. You are a walking miracle (almost said mackerel). Here's to the rest of your dreams, may they all succeed.
