  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

My statement or "FACT" is meant as in what is happening, and as FILM will NO longer be produced, then it will be NO longer a matter preference, but a matter of "FACT", this is what I meant.
 
Moderation and an even temperament is good and an open mind shows wisdom but I fail to see how user enthusiasm can damage a brand. Users do not represent the product or the company.

It is like saying people dislike Justin Bieber simply because little girls scream and throw themselves at his feet. It is ridiculous. Generally, people who dislike Bieber do so for a million other justifyable reasons. :-) I don't doubt there are those who are simply jealous of his success, but Bieber and his fans pay those people no mind. It would be foolish for them to change their behavior due to the petty jealousy, subjective dislike or disapproval of others. If you like him great. If you dislike him great. The choice is yours.
 
Here's my perspective, I don't doubt that Ketch knows what he's talking about nor that he has done extensive testing but he phrased it in a way that implied Alexa users haven't had the experience or done the testing when I know for a fact that Roger Deakins probably tested these cameras as extensively if not more then Ketch and came to a different conclusion.

Ultimately this is quite down to personal preference and there has unfortunately been a tendency amongst some to attack other professionals when they don't come to the same conclusions as those who have decided that Red is best and thats the real problem, Red user doesn't have to love Alexa but it would be nice if they didn't look down on people who do.

I was against shouty zealotry - of the kind that attempts to discredit any dissent.

I see that it was a little futile and counterproductive at this stage so I'd appreciate it if the mods could close this thread. Thanks.
