I added two edits to the first post (in color) just so we don't get too may people saying the same thing.
"Conventional graphics chips use a technique called rasterization to model 3D graphics, which tells the chip to draw a polygon at a given space, and apply a texture and filtering to it. I'm saving up my hardware money for a Caustic raytracing card next year.
