You mean Jarreds Facebook? Thanks for posting this looks very promising!

I think they are almost ready for the October-November announcement... ;-)
Looks realy great... Full res please

Sorry guys but maybe between drools, someone can tell me why exactly this image is so remarkable? Or as Tony put it, "stunning".

Its just a beautiful looking image, and made by a camera that shoots that exact image 1-150fps, for under $10k

Personally I'm impressed by the HDR-X holding those deep shadows in the couch and the hot highlights in the subject's dress with a huge tonal range in between.

how can you know if that scarlet has HDR-x implemented?
as far as has been said they've built one Fixed scarlet which was way before HDR-x announcements. it was said that Scarlet would need a new ASIC and some other new internal HW as well for HDR-x.
I'm not saying this to be pedantic but rather to say that if this is indeed a shot without HDR-x its all the better.

Do you not see that beautiful woman which just happens to be Jarred's wife? :) I'm not saying that it is a "remarkable or game changing" picture, but yes word for word exactly what Zac said!

Nail on the head. :cheers2:

Well, Jarred referred to the image as "8x 3K", which is consistent with how people refer to the various HDR-X modes for Epic and Scarlet (3x HDR, 4x HDR, etc.) so unless he's being deliberately misleading, which is doubtful, it seems clear that he's telling us he shot this at 3K on a Scarlet with the HDR-X setting at 8.
More subjectively, the image has an "HDR look" similar to when the minority of stills photographers who employ HDR tastefully do so.

I don't know what you are thinking, Tony. Between you and Terry, my job has been all but stolen from me... :D

Looks great, guys.

Just helping a brother out.
