8K SCI-FI (Not Weapon)

[Luke Neumann]

YouTube, in my experience, has been horrible for accurate colors. It looks different on each browser, even in the same OS. Vimeo is the only place for high quality videos like these, IMO.

I can't even stream 1080p on Vimeo (even with a great connection).

Luke the CG, was that 6K and up too or?

That one is 7680x4320. I had the project files still so it really didn't take much.

Looks great! Can't wait to see it

[Eamon Long]

Luke that looks fantastic! Keep it up.

Yes, originally created in 4K but I was able to re render in 8K. Took a while

Just After Effects or ?

Would be fun to see that attempted in Maya

6,144x1.33=X

I hate to point out the obvious... putting an anamorphic lens and upscaling the image does not create new pixels. If you're trying to say that X=8172 (6144x1.33) then this is simply not true. Your effective resolution (debayer withstanding) is the same as it was.

Obviously. 8K is 7,680 though. So with a 1.3x, 8K is a logical (and simple) finish.
