IM speechless and soon to be penny less...Oh my wife is going to hate this news but Im loving it.

Full Frame / Vista Vision 40mm x 20mm ( 40.96mm x 21.6mm )

8192 x 4320 @ 75FPS

NAB price for the upgrade is $10k additional to Weapon CF during NAB only. Upgrade Price when 8K ships at end of the year will be $20k.

If you order 8K now, you will receive 6K Weapon when 6K ships the beginning of July and be upgraded when 8K ships.

Come see me tomorrow in our booth and ask about the limited edition FORGED CARBON option ( which I used to shoot this ) :

He mentioned something about coming up with a new Carbon Fiber method. Didn't dig too deep into that as we were talking camera tech.

Can we purchase this through the website during NAB or is this a "in booth only" option?

The 8k Woven Carbon Fiber option is live on RED.com.

The Forged Carbon version you see in the video I am only making a few of these... it's an insanely expensive process. But unlike anything you have ever seen.

I have been trying to place a deposit for over fifteen minutes and it even says I don't have an eligible serial # on two of the options and I have a Cf and an M body. Hopefully you have time stamps forthose attempts, because I was within two minutes of listing.

thanks you very much

I remember stopping by RED's humble NAB booth in 2006 when the term "4K" wasn't on anyone else's radar, and then they threw down the gauntlet and ushered in a completely new era of digital cinema.

Today they make history once again by doing the same thing for sensor size. God bless you.

Holy friggin ice cream!!!!! I wish Reduser had like buttons or "i fucking Love it Buttons"
