$800 Head mounted display 1080p as EVF?

Has anyone tried using this silicon micro display ST1080 as an EVF of sorts? Seems like it would have some interesting applications. Dunno how they got that kind of res at that price point. Thinking about ordering one to test, curious to know if anyone else has done it.

It looks interesting...

Tried the Sony version, I suggest you demo them if they are available. Issue with the Sony was the design is like 2 iterations from being useable,
as they were very uncomfortable and you had to stare straight forward or else you get blurring around the edges of the picture, and
keep your head still in the right position if you could find it for very long. If you were in the sweet spot, it produced some excellent 3D,
but it's tough to do if you wear glasses. Also, the screen showed glare from the OLED's, which distracted from the picture.

Noted that Sony has a no return policy on this item, so you owned it if you walked out-
check the reviews from actual users, I think you'll see similar dissatisfied responses.

Doesn't the scarlet/Epic output 1080 via the HDMI and HDSDI outputs? Someone correct me if I am wrong.
