This is a long thread with people asking about sensor size very recently. If it was stated up-thread and missed by some (including me), its now double-confirmed and more visible. You’re welcome.

I can't decide whether to get my Weapon Mg in line for this or not. It's quite a lot of money for IPP2 in camera. What other advantages do we get? Faster data rates? New body or just new front plate that says "Dragon-X 6K"? New warranty? Most importantly, is this our only upgrade path to DSMC3?

Faster data rates which equals lower compression ratios.

Yeah, that's important for some, but I almost never shoot at the lowest compression, which is why I'm interested in what this will mean in terms of future upgrades. Happy to sit this one out, but don't want to kick myself when DSMC3 comes out if there won't be an option for me then.

Not sure about the 50-100, but the 18-35 only covers 6k at 28+... ~23~28 vignettes, 18~22 you can basically see the barrel.
