6K Dragon-X DSMC2 Petition!

This is great! I will do it for $150 instead of having a new front panel for $500-600.

Just a little update for the existing Dragon-X 5k folks... If you want a cosmetic upgrade to your existing 5K dragon-X, Aaron did a few tests with a "slightly-pain-in-the-ass-but-still-cheaper-than-replacing-the-part" option re-paint and re-engrave.. Should be about $150 if the 5k bothers you.. and looks pretty good. You can still see the outline if you zoom in really close of the old 5.. but under normal sight it's almost impossible to tell.

Been discussed; it’d be $10k so Jarred hasn’t confirmed if it’s not worth offering (since you’d likely be better off selling used and buying new).

When the upgrade processing workaround is complete, will Red send a mail to each of us on the list (in that case I guess serial number and red account will be needed)
or should we just wait until the official announcement to send it in for Dragon-X 6k upgrade through the regular Red reseller ?

Hello Jarred,

Will RED open up the purchase of the Dragon X upgrade path by the end of this year?
I'm sure lots of people would be interested in investing in the upgrade before years closing.

I want to purchase the 6K upgrade in that exact wording, as just upgrading to 5K-X is not worth it
To me personally. I'd need to be sure the 6K upgrade is guaranteed to happen.
