  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

6K Dragon-X DSMC2 Petition!

Does this mean that Dragon-X 6K will be available in the new year from the RED website? I've been hunting for a MG 6K to go with the Komodo... Next year will be amazing! Thank you Jarred this weekends news has been amazing!

While awesome news for everyone with a dragon-x, this is bittersweet on our end. We "upgraded" from two epic-m dragons and a scarlet to DSMC2 by trading/purchasing a Gemini and two Ravens. Had we known that the Dragon-x had a 6k sensor in it that could possibly be unlocked in the future, we'd have gone all in on two Dragon-x's. Don't get me wrong, the Gemini is an amazing camera... But... I miss the epic-m every day.

For what it's worth... The Ravens are amazing cameras... minus the 6k images we used to be able to extract.
 
Slightly confused. Perhaps someone could clarify...

We own a DSMC2 Weapon CF (Woven) camera, with a Dragon 6K sensor.

What benefits would this upgrade path offer us?

new warranty, IPP2 in camera, all of the goodies of DSMC2 (wifi built in , scratch mic, etc) along with an easier way to have an upgrade path in the future... to think of a few

Tim, they already have all the goodies of DSMC2 if they have a DSMC2 CF obviously.
