We just have internally certified the only 16GB CF cards fast enough (read and write faster than our 8GB cards) to handle the RED ONE. They are custom developed for RED.

Expect these cards to be available in about 4 weeks. Price will be $550 ea.

There maybe, but in any case, the RED 16GB CF cards are the only ones fast enough to work with the RED-ONE camera.

There are a good couple. Try this link as a starting point. But - as Stuart has already pointed out - not a single one of those comes even close to be fast enough for the Red One.

So, you either have to wait a few weeks, or go for the 8 GB version, where there are other suppliers than Red with fast enough data rates.

EDIT: Now there are even 64gig CFs around the corner. But not for Red. (yet) Link

The 64GB from MICRODIA are 300X, and in theory should work with RED, but so did other cards.

Testing the cards is the only option as they come out, but again, I prefer play safe and Buy RED certified products.

We test all the new cards that come out and we haven't found any 16GB or larger cards that are fast enough. Almost all of them end up being much slower in real world conditions than they're rated at.
