  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

There's absolutely nothing wrong with comparing 1080p output. Practically all TV content *today* is produced and delivered at or below that res so it is a much bigger market that 4K cinema. But then he should not be blowing the resolution back up to pixel peep and compare 'image quality'. Compare a downsampled-to-1080p output from Scarlet to 1080p straight out of 5D Mark3. Not much of a comparision, then.
 
should we take this serious? a website named cinema5D and then footage from trees ...lol...be sure. no one who is working as a professional does believe in this crap :D close this thread! basta
 
Infact in many cases(exluding low light performans) we see that scarlet is better than c300. So how can a product of "Canon" can be better than a product of a "Canon" which costs 5 times of it? It is like saying number 2 is smaller than 10 and 10 is smaler than 12 but 2 is equal to 12. It doesn't make sense.

and thanks Sascha. I think it is good to be aware of the argumentations about Scarlet. (even if they are not valid)

Unfortunately we have to look at the title for this idiotic test every time we browse for new posts. Unless you're comparing stills from Scarlet to stills from DSLRs (both in RAW) than the results will be nothing if not banal pointless and irritating. This thread needs to be closed.
