4KWS mode on a Epic?

[Christopher Probst]

Is there a version of the firmware that offers 4K or 4.5K widescreen? Shooting some high speed material with a 2.40 aspect ratio... So right now 5KWS is giving me 120fps... 4K is only offering 121fps! It'd be great to have an option to shoot 4KWS and go maybe in the 150-200fps range? Pretty Please? I got a week and a half before this shoots.

Cheers

Chris

that would be great to have just as 4k and 3k ana for high speed x2.

I agree, and it's not that difficult of a fix, just some software tweaks! Of course, I understand the idea of not having to scroll through 2000 different resolution options to pick one, but for high-speed, especially in the 4K and 3K range, it's important. I try to stay away from 2K like it was the plague....

It would be great to have more aspect ratio options.

I think it would work really well if they separate the resolution from aspect ratio - allowing the user to set each one independently.

I recently made a thread about the feature request:

This is a great idea Chris. Besides offering more FPS, it would also give a matching mode for Epic/RED One shoots.

Now if only that could happen in the next week and a half!
