Hello all,
i am going to shoot a commercial the next days where we us the Epic Dragon in 4K WS Mode with Panavision C-30 Lenses.
I am a little bit confused how to setup my project and desqueeze the footage in Davinci Resolve. The problem is, that i cannot find any test footage out there an also there is no prep day...
How is the correct Timeline resolution and Pixel Aspect Ratio in the Master Project Settings?
Do i have to change Clip Attributes in the Media Pool?
It came to me, that the editor wants proxies in 1:2.40 in HD. Is that 1920x817?
And the clients wants also files with 16:9 Framelines for B-Roll Footage. So i will loose information on the left and right frame. Where is the correct positon of these Framelines.
I know i could shot a frameleader but as is said i will see the camera just on the day of shooting and i want to be prepared. I hope my Explanation is intelligible.
Cheers, Alex
