  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

The Allsteady Jockey

YKt9eOh.png

True 4-Axis Jockey Technology, the Holy Grail of cinematic video stabilization, has arrived. This game-changing 4-axis technology stabilizes the vertical axis, a critical deficiency of traditional 3-axis gimbals in addressing bouncy videos.

Close Up of the Allsteady Jockey Dampening Technology

The Allsteady Jockey is designed with an adjustable spring system. This allows you to easily fine tune the Jockey for perfect stabilization with cameras and gimbals of all different sizes.

The shock system, highlighted in blue, is what sets the Allsteady Jockey apart from the competition. These shocks prevent the spring system from bouncing, bringing any motion to a smooth stop.

Incredibly Stable Footage Is Now Easier Than Ever Before

This clip demonstrates just how helpful the Allsteady Jockey is when capturing footage while walking and running. The Allsteady Jockey's swing arm is designed to travel while keeping your camera balanced and stable.

Quick Release Design Allows for Easy Assembly and Compatibility

We've designed a quick release system for the DJI Ronin and Ronin-M gimbal as well as for our Allsteady 6Pro and Allsteady 6Plus. The quick release makes it easy to use your gimbal with or without the Allsteady Jockey system.

Optional Jockey Support Rig

The Jockey Support Rig allows you to remain light and nimble. Whether if you are applying the inverted-upright mode for eye level filming or the underslung mode to lower center of gravity, this small yet astonishing device can easily transfer more than 80% of the weight of your 4-Axis gimbal to your hips. You can now hold the gimbal with barely one hand, freeing the other hand to adjust camera and gimbal on the go. No more bulky shoulder rigs with restraining jackets and obtrusive cables.

Seems like a better way to film runners over an obstacle course is to use a drone. These wacky, complex gimbal systems look like a solution looking for a problem

I guess you never filmed with sound or had to stick a closeup at the end of a move?

Looks like the Jockey will be a perfect compliment to my Ready Rig GS. Should keep things tight and light.

I'd love to know how this plays with car rigs. Just did a week shooting car mount with Ronin on a shock plate. Shock plates work to a point then sometimes just can't handle the bigger bumps. Seems like Jockey would work perfect for hood mounts, hostess tray, poor man's ultimate arm, etc.

Car mount needs a much sturdier unit, that is why we have 2 Jockeys integrated together with a total of 8 hydraulic shocks. It provides a much wider stronger base with additional dampening.

But the basic unit wouldn't work on a car or a smooth road, even for a lightweight camera (please specify max wt for this situation).

Couldn't resist.

Couldn't resist.

Just pledged for the full Ronin Package. I think this will work ideally with and without my Ready Rig GS.

Less than 12 hours to go to save on Kickstarter. We have upgraded the Jockey Rig with heavy padding all around the waist for better support, see photo

Yes, the Jockey Rig can work with and without the Ready Rig. For guys who want it strapped to the shoulder can purchase something like this in Amazon
http://www.amazon.com/Occidental-Le...id=1445533703&sr=8-7&keywords=suspension+belt

We are almost all sold out for the first batch. The next batch will be available for store purchase to be delivered in late December or Jan 2016.

Cheers

Looks very impressive about 4-th axis stabilization. The best solution for 4-x axisstabolization seems. But some worry about carry it. It is heavy. With Red you can hold it in your hands only 1-2 mitutes, it is heavy without stand. In this video camera is too low most time you need to hold camera at the face's level. So with this short stand how can you hold camera at face's level? And the next thing is that Red is need to be upside down. Is there any way to hold Red at the face's level and not upside down? Yes it is better then Easy rig wit Serene, but with Easy Rig you can work a long time 15-20 minutes easly then some rest for a few minutes and then again 15-20 minutes so the question is how much time can you hold it in your hands. For shorts for a few minutes of course it is ok but what if you need to shoot many hours? But maybe the way if you just will take it make shoot and take off it to some stand. Because for example if you take Easy rig you can't easly take off it and you will try to shoot many shots to econom time. In this case maybe you can just shoot you shot and take off it in 2 seconds then take it again for one shot and do it every time maybe it is the way. And one thing is that if you will run it is not seems to tight fixed on the belt and can be easly drop from the belt. So the main worry is how long can you carry it. Maybe it is need to fix it ti Easy Rig to work for a long time. Thanks you.
