I've seen quite a few threads on here regarding adding in-camera LUTs on Epic Dragons, but I wanted to check in with a new thread just to make sure I had the most up-to-date info.

My understanding is that - without a Redcast Module - I can't add 3D LUTs (or 1D LUTs for that matter) from third-party applications directly onto the camera. Meaning my .cube LUTs from Resolve aren't going on the Epic Dragon. So basically if I want to use a 3D LUT, I'm going to have it add it downstream.

My only choice for in-camera LUTs is to create a Look profile in RedCine-X.

Accurate?

Epic Dragon doesn't come in the newer DSCM2 body build, though, does it?

Gotcha. Thanks for the replies Phil. Just to clarify - this question is specifically regarding a job I'm prepping for and we're using the Epic brain with Dragon sensor - so that's definitely going to be the first generation DSMC, correct? And therefore no 3D LUTs in camera.

We'll have a DP7 and a Teradek 2000 that I can use to monitor with our LUTs. I was just going to go out-of-camera if it was possible for simplicity's sake.
